As a Mid-Level Data Analyst/Software Engineer at Northrift Solutions Limited, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data-driven applications and systems that drive critical business decisions and enhance user experiences. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, turning data into actionable insights and contributing to the full software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define requirements for data analysis and software projects.
- Develop, implement, and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions.
- Design and execute complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and trends, presenting findings in a clear and meaningful manner.
- Build interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop, test, and deploy software applications that leverage data to enhance business operations.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of software systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with other software engineers to ensure seamless integration of data-related components into larger software solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug data and software-related issues, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis, software engineering and AI
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Software Engineer, or similar role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, with a strong emphasis on data manipulation and analysis.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and SQL.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
- Familiarity with data processing frameworks/libraries like Pandas, NumPy, or Spark.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, version control systems (e.g., Git), and agile methodologies.
- Previous experience working in software development] is a plus.
